  • Establishment of a new Department of Clinical Skills in the College of Medicine Alfaisal University
  • Development of an integrated clinical skills curriculum
  • Establishment of an advanced simulation center
  • Development and delivery of the Basic Surgical Skills course
  • Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS) Project
  • Debriefing as an educational strategy in all simulation sessions
  • Affiliation with Harvard’s Center for Medical Simulation (CMS) for their simulation instructor courses & Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in the development of a Master’s in Healthcare Simulation is in progress.
