I am a senior lecturer at the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine. I am facilitating problem based learning (PBL) sessions and Team Based Learning (TBL) sessions as well. I received my Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Alexandria University in 2008 and then joined the Medical school at the American University of Beirut and gained my Master degree in 2011. My research field of interest is Pharmacogenomics of drug metabolizing enzymes, drug transporters, and drug target genes. I am currently working on project entitled "The influence of CYP2C9 genetic polymorphism on warfarin haemorrhagic complications in Saudi population". I have previous teaching experience at Beirut Arab University in Lebanon and Pharos University in Alexandria.
